Fire on Southbrook Drive, couple safe

No one was hurt after an early morning fire in Fort Wayne.

Crews were called to the 5400 block of Southbrook Drive on the northeast side, near St. Joe Road and St. Joe Center Road. They arrived at 4:13 a.m. and had the fire under control in under 15 minutes.

The two people and the family dog inside the home were able to get out safely. The fire is currently under investigation.
