FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Another public meeting is scheduled to generate ideas on what to do with the former General Electric building.
The followup meeting from February is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Citizens Square. Andy Downs from the Mike Downs Center for Indiana Politics will conduct the meeting and also present a report to the coalition.
The GE Campus Coalition was formed by Councilman Geoff Paddock last year. The forums are meant to gather public input on what should happen to the large building in downtown Fort Wayne.
“Our hope is that because of the positive discussions of the past year, developers may be coming forward in the months ahead,” said Paddock.
