Four hurt in early-morning shooting

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Four people were hurt in an early-morning shooting Tuesday on Fort Wayne’s northeast side.

Police tell WOWO news four people were wounded when a shooting broke out at a home in the 6600 block of Pawawna Drive in the Blackhawk neighborhood near Georgetown Square at about 12:30 a.m.

As officers arrived, they initially found two victims inside the home suffering from gunshot wounds: a man was in critical condition and a woman in good condition.

A short time later, two additional female victims arrived at a local hospital suffering from gunshot wounds. They were listed in good condition.

Investigators say someone shot into the house from the backyard, hitting people that were inside.

There are currently no suspects, but the investigation is ongoing.
