JAY COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): A sex offender wanted out of Jay County was arrested after police say he violated his parole.

Christopher M. Wickey, 37, was arrested Thursday because he was wanted for a parole violation. He is listed on the Indiana Sex Offender Restistry as a sexually violent predator, according to Jay County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page.

On July 8, the Jay County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page posted that they were searching for Wickey. The department announced on Thursday, July 21, that Wickey had been apprehended.
