GOSHEN, Ind. (WOWO): The President of Goshen College will be stepping down next year.

Jim Brenneman says he’ll be ending his time with Goshen College at the end of the 2016-2017 academic year, after spending 11 years on the job. He says he believes now is the right time to find new leadership to advance the school.

The school is touting highlights like the launch of the Center for Intercultural and International Education in 2006 and the Institute for the Study of Global Anabaptism, the Institute for Ecological Regeneration and the Institute for Intercultural Leadership in 2011, as well as contributions of nearly $70-million during his tenure.

A search for a successor will begin soon.
