1 dead, 3 injured in 3 different Fort Wayne shootings this weekend

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): It was a violent Labor Day Weekend in Fort Wayne.

A Fort Wayne man died and three people were injured in three different shootings this weekend.

FRIDAY
Police were called to the 1400 block of Greene Street at about 8:45 p.m. Friday. When officers arrived, they found 24-year-old Jamal Anderson. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

He was the 27th homicide victim in Allen County this year.

Fort Wayne police arrested 20-year-old Mylinque Shaboz Wallace on aggravated battery charges in connection to the shooting on Saturday morning.

SUNDAY
At about 2 p.m. Sunday, police were called to the intersection of Capitol Avenue and Winter Street on reports of a shooting.
Two men were shot. One was hospitalized in serious condition and the other man suffered minor injuries.

Police were called to the Phillips 66 gas station at the intersection of Wayne Trace and Drexel Avenue at about 6:38 p.m. for another shooting.

When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from two gunshot wounds. He was hospitalized, according to the Fort Wayne Police Department.
