Fort Wayne murder suspect caught in Alabama

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A Fort Wayne fugitive wanted for murder has been caught.

28-year-old Christopher Figgs of Fort Wayne was found and arrested Monday by a US Marshal Task Force in Huntsville, Alabama. He went quietly.

Figgs has been charged with the shooting death of 28-year-old Edward Kiel. Police say he walked up to Kiel’s vehicle while it sat in the road on McKinnie Avenue on July 6th and shot him several times.

The shooting was allegedly over Figgs’ ex-girlfriend, who was in the car with Kiel at the time of the attack.
