FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Officers are investigating an alleged sexual assault at Indiana University – Purdue University Fort Wayne.

The IPFW Police Department posted an alert on their Facebook page, stating the alleged assault happened Friday morning in campus housing, between a student and visitor the student met online.

Officials with the campus have posted some safety tips when it comes to online dating on their website here.

Not many other details were released, but the investigation is underway.
