FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A new truck that will be built at the GM plant in Fort Wayne was just announced this week at the New York Auto Show.

The 2019 GMC Sierra AT4 was unveiled at the show and is designed for those who want an “elevated presence on the road and the capability to venture off live’s beaten path,” according to Global GMC Vice President Duncan Aldred.

The standard version of the Sierra AT4 will include four-wheel drive with a two-speed transfer case, wheels with all-terrain tires, a 5.3-Liter V-8 engine, and a GMC exclusive, industry-first “MultiPro” tailgate, which is designed to make loading and securing things like motorcycles and bikes easier.

It goes on sale this fall. Read more here.
