FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne police are investigating a shooting death that happened early this morning.

According to the Fort Wayne Police Department, officers were called to a home in the 1000 block of High Street at about 3:50am Saturday on reports of a shooting. When they arrived they found a man dead outside in the yard.

He was later identified as Thomas R. Jones, 22. His cause of death was determined to be a gunshot wound to the head. His manner of death was ruled a suicide.

The incident is still under investigation.
