FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Fort Wayne Police Department is investigating a stabbing that left a man in critical condition Saturday night.

Officers were called to the 2500 block of Lillie Street at about 8:40pm on reports of a man lying wounded on the ground. Upon arrival they found one man with multiple stab wounds. Bryant Dewayne Lawrence, 45, was taken to a nearby hospital.

Police have canvassed the area to see if any neighbors saw or heard what happened. The incident is still under investigation.
