FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – The Allen County SPCA is hosting its third annual Pedal for Promises event Sunday, Sept. 30 at Pedal City.

The event will feature raffle prizes, silent auctions, a cornhole tournament, food and drink specials, live music and more.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit Pet Promises, a progressive program at the Allen County SPCA that aims to keep pets in their homes and out of the shelter by providing free vaccine clinics, spay/neuter surgeries, veterinary assistance, and everyday essentials that pets may need but owners may not be able to afford.

Since 2015, the program has provided more than 1400 spay/neuter surgeries and more than 700 vaccinations and microchips for pets in need.

The event will be held from 4-7 p.m., and is free to the public.
