HUNTINGTON COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): A Huntington county woman has settled a federal lawsuit against a former circuit court judge.

Heather Malone was the county’s chief probation officer from 2015 to 2017, and claimed Judge Thomas Hakes sent her unwanted text messages and emails, according to the Journal Gazette.

Court documents reveal the case was settled last month. Terms of the settlement were not released.

Hakes retired at the end of 2017.
