Flagstar looking to recover from bad first impression

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The new bank in town has some catching up to do.

A week ago today, Flagstar Bank took over the 11 Wells Fargo locations in Fort Wayne, among a total of 52 Wells Fargo locations around Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Ohio.

Unfortunately, it was a bad first impression, as their website went down Monday morning, leaving thousands of Wells Fargo customers unable to make sure their accounts had moved over properly.

Flagstar’s CEO has apologized and tells the Journal Gazette his bank is “sparing no expense” in figuring out what happened and making sure it doesn’t happen again.

Actually, I’m stunned there were people who still trusted wells fargo bank. I would have left after the first report they were scamming their own customers. Could have avoided this current mess.
