FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): One man was killed after a shooting Saturday night on the city’s southeast side.

Police responded to the 4400 block of Gaywood near the corner of Gaywood and Senate at around 8:30 p.m. after a report of a shooting.

Officers found a man suffering from gunshot wounds, and he was then taken to a local hospital in critical condition. The man died shortly after arrival.

Detectives are asking anyone with any information on this shooting to call the department’s detective bureau at 427-1201 or Crime Stoppers at 436-7867.
