NATIONWIDE (WOWO): Another company has joined a big dog food recall.
Hill’s Pet Nutrition is recalling select canned dog food products due to potentially elevated levels of vitamin D. Too much vitamin D can lead to potential health issues like vomiting, loss of appetite, increased thirst, and weight loss.

Canned Hill’s Science Diet and Prescription Diet varieties are under the recall. Pet owners with dogs who have consumed any of the products, listed here, should contact their veterinarian.
