DeKalb High School bomb threat investigated

DEKALB COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Police are investigating a bomb threat that was made toward DeKalb High School.

DeKalb Central Schools Superintendent Steven Teders tells WOWO News school district officials were contacted by the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department and informed of a “nonspecific” bomb threat against the school as one of many received overnight referencing different locations throughout the county.

The school was searched by police and a K-9 unit, but nothing was found.

School was planned to be in session as usual today, after a two-hour weather-related delay.
