Two killed in Garrett fire

GARRETT, Ind. (WOWO): Two people died in a fire in Garrett Monday morning.

Firefighters responded to the 100 block of South Randolph Street in downtown Garrett. Witnesses told our Partners in News at ABC 21 they believe the fire started around 1 a.m. in the second story of apartments next to the former Silver Screen Cinema.

A third person was transported to a Fort Wayne hospital after the fire.

No further information is available at this time.
