Karen Francisco, Editorial Page Editor for the Fort Wayne Journal Gazette joined “Fort Wayne’s Morning News” with Charly Butcher to talk about Sunday’s cover story about the Lincoln Collection at the downtown library. The story describes some of the fascinating pieces in the collection, including the one most requested, a photo of Mary Todd Lincoln called the “spirit photograph”. It was taken seven years after Abraham Lincoln’s death, with the ghosts of Abe and one of her children faintly visible behind her.  Most residents don’t realize how extensive the collection is — about 20,000 books, photographs, letters and documents.
