FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) — Damage to two homes and minor injuries to an officer was a result of the crash.

The incident happened on S. Lafayette St., near Oxford St.

Fort Wayne police reported that the driver lost control, colliding with two houses on Lafayette St.

The injured officer sustained minor injuries and did not require hospitalization.

The suspect is now in custody.
