GARY, Ind. (WOWO): A longtime abortion doctor in Indiana has surrendered his abortion license after it was revealed his Gary office was being run in poor conditions.

Doctor Ulrich Klopfer surendered his Gary, Indiana license just two weeks before it was likely he would have had that license removed by the Indiana Medical Licensing Board. 

It was also determined that Klopfer submitted over 1,800 state reports that contained errors. Klopfer's Gary office was found to have water leaks, improper staffing, and sewage smells at his Gary location. 

According to Indiana Right to Life, Klopfer still has Fort Wayne and South Bend locations licensed with the state, but only performs abortions in South Bend.
