Airlines Temporarily Cutting Back Flights to Myrtle Beach

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP):  Airlines are reducing flights to Myrtle Beach as fall approaches. One of those is Allegiant's service between Myrtle Beach and Fort Wayne.

The Myrtle Beach Sun News reported that Allegiant Air already has ended service between Myrtle Beach and Fort Wayne, Ind. Service to Allentown, Pa., Huntingdon, W.Va., and Youngstown, Ohio, continues until Sept. 18. Allegiant plans to resume service in April.


Most airlines reduce or end flights to Myrtle Beach after the summer season.
