Alabama, Indiana senators wager on title game…

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) _ Two U.S. senators, Richard Shelby of Alabama and Dan Coats of Indiana, have placed a friendly wager on the outcome of the national championship football game between Alabama and Notre Dame.

Shelby announced Friday that if Notre Dame wins, he will provide Dreamland BBQ from Tuscaloosa for Coats’ office in Washington. Coats said that if Alabama wins, he will deliver a basket of goods from South Bend Chocolate Company to Shelby’s office.

Both senators expressed confidence that their home team would win Monday night’s game and that it would be the other senator making a food delivery.
