Alleged Bank Robber Caught

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO):  Kosciusko County Sherriff's Department, along with the FBI, helped capture an alleged bank robber on the run.

Dennis Carl Love of South Bend was taken into custody on December 27th.  The arrest took place during a traffic stop after Love allegedly attempted to rob a bank in Martin, Michigan.  His 1997 sliver Ford Escort station wagon matched the description of a 'get-away vehicle' in other bank robberies.

FBI agents searched Love's home in South Bend and found potential additional evidence relating to other robberies.

Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Detectives and Kosciusko County Prosecutor Dan Hampton are working with Michigan and federal officials to explore additional charges, including connections to a robbery of the Leesburg bank branch on July 12th of this year.
