Allen County Officer Fired for Discipline Problems

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): An Allen County Sheriff's Department officer was fired this month after a number of troubling allegations.

Officer Jason Giszewski has been with the Sheriff's Department for almost 15 years, but has apparently had problems with discipline since 2001. That's when, according to Sheriff Dave Gladieux, he got into what's called a “volatile confrontation” with the St. Joseph Township Fire Department's Chief.

The Journal Gazette says he also pulled a gun on a neighbor playing loud music late at night and threatened to kill a bicyclist who made the mistake of asking him for a ride home last month.
