ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO) – The Allen County Sheriff’s Department is searching for a suspect involved in a hit and run crash.

Around 1 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, the Sheriff’s Department was notified that an unknown vehicle had struck a bicyclist in the 2800 block of Hillegas Road, south of Butler Road.

The victim was left lying in the roadway in critical condition; the vehicle fled the scene.

Investigators believe the suspect vehicle may be red in color and was traveling northbound on Hillegas Road.
