Area fast food restaurant robbed at gunpoint Wednesday night

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Fort Wayne Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the Arby’s in the 3500 block of East State Blvd. on Wednesday night, according to our partners in news at ABC21.

According to investigators, a man entered the restaurant and proceeded to the restroom.  The man then went to the front counter and jumped over it with a handgun and demanded money.  The suspect put the money in a Dollar General bag that he had brought with him.  The robber then left the establishment and headed west.

Nobody was injured in the robbery.  The incident remains under investigation.
