Authorities: Inmate Back in Custody After Wrongful Release

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) _ Authorities say an inmate at the Marion County Jail in Indianapolis is back in custody after being wrongfully released.

The Marion County Sheriff's Office said in a news release Monday that the 30-year-old Indianapolis woman was wrongfully released Sunday and was out of custody for about 12 hours.

According to the sheriff's office, pending charges against the woman include stalking and invasion of privacy.

The sheriff's office says it's conducting an internal investigation into the woman's release.
