AVILLA, Ind, (WOWO):  Police are looking for an armed man that tried to rob Hey’s Tap in Avilla.

It’s uncertain if the person got away with anything.  Around 11:45 p.m. Saturday, a man wearing a black jacket, black hood and black mask entered the bar on Albion Street and held up a female victim.

Kendallville Police, the Noble County Sheriff’s Department and Allen County Police all helped with the search and even used K-9 units, but were unsuccessful.
