EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WOWO): Officials with Old National Bank say 40 local jobs will be cut over the next couple months as the company takes control of Tower Bank.

Last fall, the Evansville-based bank announced a $100 million-dollar deal to purchase the local bank.

Tower operates six banking centers in Fort Wayne and another in Warsaw.

The company is working with the state to for displaced workers.
