Buddy Lazier Enters Indy 500 Field

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) _ Buddy Lazier has become the 33rd driver to join the Indianapolis 500 field. Track officials announced yesterday that the 1996 Indy 500 champion will drive the car for a team owned by his father, Bob Lazier. If Lazier and the other 32 drivers on the entry list qualify, the race will start with its traditional 33-car field.
