NEW YORK (AP) _ Butler advanced in the Atlantic 10 tournament yesterday with a 73-67 win over Dayton in the first round. Rotnei Clarke scored 21 points and Andrew Smith added 18 for the Bulldogs. They will face fourth-seeded La Salle in today’s quarterfinals.
