Cheeseburger Calls Land Man in Henry County Lockup

52-year-old Gregory Jackson Sr. called Henry County 911 dispatchers Friday night asking for help in satisfying his hunger for a cheeseburger.

He called not just once, but according to the New Castle Police report, nine times in about a 90 minute time period.

New Castle police then learned that he didn’t show up for a court hearing two days before and sent an officer to his apartment.

Instead of Jackson receiving a cheeseburger from the officer, he was arrested.

Jackson is being held in the Henry County Jail, awaiting an appearance scheduled for Wednesday.
