City Board Votes To Revoke Yellow Taxi’s Permit

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): There could soon be less taxis on Fort Wayne roadways.

That's because the Fort Wayne Board of Public Safety has voted in favor of revoking the permit for Yellow Taxi Cab at a special meeting.

The reason is because the company has lost its automobile liability insurance on July 17th, according to the Journal-Gazette.

Yellow will be allowed to operate for 30 days following the board's vote before its permit is revoked, but must appear before the board before the 30 days is up and explain why the company should retain its permit.
