City Offering West Central Homes For Rehab and Purchase

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A City of Fort Wayne office really wants you to be a homeowner.

The City's Office of Housing and Neighborhood Services is still seeking moderate to middle income residents who want to live in one of eight West Central homes in need of rehab.

The homes are considered blighted, but will be redeveloped by a developer with your input. Buyers are also eligible for five year residential tax abatements through the program.

The idea is to raise the value of not just the home, but the homes in the vibrant West Central neighborhood.
