Closed Exit Ramps And Slowdowns on I-69 And I-469 This Sunday

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Your commute on I-69 and I-469 could be a little slow on Sunday.

The Indiana Department of Transportation will be having rolling slowdowns so American Electric Power can work on the power lines that run over the interstate.

The slowdowns will happen on I-69 southbound between the U.S. 27 exit all the way up to past the Union Chapel exit as well as northbound I-469 from the Maplecrest exit up to the I-69 north side interchange.

The far left lane of both directions of I-69 at the I-469 north side interchange will also be closed, and several exit ramps where work is taking place will be closed. Ramps to be closed during the rolling roadblocks include both ramps from Coldwater Road to I-69 northbound; the ramp from Union Chapel Road to I-69 southbound; the ramp from S.R. 1/Dupont Road to I-69 southbound; and both ramps from Maplecrest Road to I-469 northbound.
