Coleman to Stand Trial in August

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Gary man accused of shooting tobacco store owner Antonio Lopez Nino, will stand trial in August.


22-year-old Jamel Coleman was scheduled to appear in court Monday, but that hearing was canceled. Instead he'll return to court August 19th for a three day jury trial.


Coleman faces four charges including murder and armed robbery causing death. The charges stem from an April robbery gone bad at the Smoke House Tobacco Outlet on Lafayette Street.
