FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Today, Community Harvest celebrates 30 years of service. Community Harvest Food Bank of Northeast Indiana, Inc., has been the leader in hunger relief efforts in the area. In its first fiscal year, the food bank distributed 200,000 poundso of food, and at the end of its last fiscal year, Community Harvest distributed almost 13 million pounds of food throughout Northeast Indiana. It's celebrating the successes of the last 30 years with donors, leaders, organizations, individuals, and others who have helped throughout the past 3 decades.
