Contractor Chosen for McMillen Park Community Center Project

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A contractor has been picked for the McMillen Park Community Center project. Mayor Tom Henry announced today that Weigand Construction has been selected for the project, which will cost almost $1.7 million in Legacy funding to renovate the former McMillen Ice Arena into a community center. Work is anticipated to begin next month and finish next year. The center will have programs for all ages, including sports, fitness, and educational ones.
