Crime Stoppers Tip Leads Police to Double Robbery Suspect

After the release of in-store video surveillance, multiple tips were received via Crime Stoppers as to the identity of a robbery suspect who reportedly robbed a woman at gunpoint of cash.

Once detectives were able to find the suspect, Justin Alexander, of Fort Wayne, he became the target of a car chase. It began in the area of W. Jefferson Blvd. and Webster Street early this morning around 1:00 a.m.

The chase ended after Alexander crashed into the porch of a home on Madison Street.  He then gave up and surrendered to police.

Alexander was also wanted in connection to a robbery on January 7th, at a gas station on Anthony Blvd

Alexander was is in the Allen County lockup on two robbery charges, resisting police charges, a weapons offense charge, and an automobile theft – receiving stolen automobile parts charge.
