Dense Fog Delays Schools in Listening Area

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Dense fog in parts of Indiana has prompted many school districts to delay their openings.

The National Weather Service is warning of fog possibly dropping visibilities to less than a half mile in parts of Indiana on Wednesday until it is burned off after sunrise.

The weather service says areas south of Interstate 70 are most likely to experience the worst visibility, but school districts as far north as the Fort Wayne area announced two- or three-hour opening delays.
