ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): DNR Officers in Allen County managed to catch two people who were out hunting raccoons before the legal season starts.

The DNR received information through the TIP hotline, that illegal hunting was taking place in a wooded area of Allen County.

Two hunters were caught Thursday night by an officer while they were out hunting. They both had guns and a freshly killed raccoon in their possession. Officers soon discovered the hunters had many other raccoons at home, in their freezer.
