FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP) _ A Fort Wayne area family’s celebrating after being reunited with their missing dog, nearly six months after the German shepherd disappeared from the family’s home in Grabill. 

The Thompson family moved and got another dog after Charlie vanished this summer, but said they continued to search for their wayward pooch. He turned up last week at Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control.
