FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): We could hear more about public funding for the Electric Works project this week.
Developers RTM Ventures announced during a community forum held last night at the Grand Wayne Center that a public funding proposal for the project could be made public this week.
Money has been a big topic over the mixed-use development at Fort Wayne’s former General Electric campus, as Mayor Tom Henry and the developers have clashed in the past over just how much public money should go toward it.

The Journal Gazette reports a working group made up of people representing the city, Allen County, and the Capital Improvement Board are all considering strategic options for the project, which would include housing, retail, restaurant, and educational components.
