Ex EACS translator charged with sexual battery

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A 19-year-old Burmese translator who used to work for East Allen County Schools has been charged with sexual battery.

Court documents say Ah Dee is accused of sexual battery and criminal confinement over an incident that happened on March 9th. The Journal Gazette reports he invited a female student into his classroom at Heritage High School that day under the guise of completing college paperwork.

When she tried to leave the room, he allegedly blocked the door, groped her, and tried to do more before she fought him off, got away, and told school officials. He reportedly admitted it, telling them he thought the rules “didn’t apply” to him due to how close in age he is to the students.

He was immediately fired. A warrant is now out for his arrest.
