Ex-Ind. Lawmaker Pleads Guilty to Vote Fraud

VERNON, Ind. (AP): A former state representative and Democratic campaign consultant from southern Indiana has been sentenced to nine months in jail and nine months on probation after pleading guilty to three counts of vote fraud. Sixty-year-old Michael Marshall of North Vernon was sentenced by Jennings Circuit Judge Jon Webster on Wednesday.
