FDA Issues Recall on Good Sense Pine Nuts

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The FDA has issued a recall on a brand of pine nuts that can be found at area grocery stores.

Waymouth Farms, Inc. has issued the recall due to possible salmonella contamination. The product is sold at retail stores under the Good Sense brand and the FDA is investigating contamination of the nuts that were packaged in 4 oz, tubs and 4 -15 oz. zipper bags.

Anyone with symptoms of food poisoning should contact customer service for bar code information, to find out if they purchased a bag that may have contained salmonella.

The product is sold in bulk and would have been sold from self-service grocery bins.

Customer Service can be reached at 800-527-0094, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM CST.
