FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A home on Congress Avenue suffered heavy damage after a fire Friday night.

Fort Wayne fire crews got the call to the house fire just after 10:00 p.m. Once on the scene they found heavy smoke coming from the first floor of the two-story home. When firefighters were able to get inside, they came in contact with intense flames.

There was no one in the home at the time of the blaze and no injuries were reported. However the fire cause is still under investigation.
