FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A Sunday afternoon fire caused moderate damage to a home on the city's northeast side.

Just after 5, firefighters arrived to 1500 block of Faulkner Court, just off Maplecrest Road, to find smoke coming from the front of the home.

Two residents were able to make it to safety. But it took about 15 minutes to bring it under control.

The investigation continues, but officials say the bulk of the fire was in a bedroom.
