FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Residents of a Fort Wayne nursing home had to be evacuated Tuesday morning.
A fire broke out shortly after 11 a.m. at the Glenbrook Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center on Parnell Avenue north of Spy Run Avenue Extended.
The fire was extinguished by an interior sprinkler system, and firefighters removed a large amount of smoke. The scene was cleared before 11:20 a.m.
Everyone in the building was evacuated. The Fort Wayne Fire Department says no one was hurt.
